TitanX, the creator of the Phone Intent™ category and leading sales technology company specializing in prospect intelligence and outbound sales productivity, today announced the public launch of its Precision Dialer. The first, and only, single-line sales dialer that combines proprietary behavioral intelligence with number-reputation technology and spam-flag prevention capabilities to identify and prioritize prospects most likely to answer cold calls.
The launch challenges the sales industry’s longstanding emphasis on maximizing outbound call volume as a measure of productivity. With 14 of 15 of the dialers brought to market in the last seven years being parallel dialers, TitanX’s omission of these features is easy to explain. The TitanX Precision Dialer takes a more targeted approach. Rather than increasing the number of calls representatives make, it is designed to identify and prioritize the prospects most likely to answer, shifting the focus from dialing activity to meaningful conversations.
Precision Dialer Performance Findings:
- Up to 4X higher connect rates: TitanX-scored dialing achieved 3.5 to 4 times the connect rate compared with baseline dialing.
- 3.5X the meeting-booking rate: Representatives using single-line and power dialing booked meetings at 3.5 times the rate of those using parallel dialers.
- Single-line dialing achieves a 110% higher connect rate than parallel dialing (10.6% vs. 5.0%).
- 1.6X greater prospect reach: Representatives dialing individually reached 17.3% of unique prospects, compared with 10.7% for those using parallel dialing.
- Top 20% of sales reps generated 55%–61% of all meetings: Higher call volume did not guarantee greater productivity, with the highest-volume dialers tending to rank among the lowest performers on their teams.
“The board has handed down the same mandate for years to revenue leaders: ‘Do more with less.’ In response, they’ve cranked up the volume somewhere else in their models. First with parallel dialers and now with AI that sends more of what nobody answers,” said Joey Gilkey, CEO of TitanX. “We built the Precision Dialer to fulfill that very mandate. Through precise conversations that feed a continuously improving flywheel, we knew we could simultaneously multiply rep outcomes while cutting activity volume in half and, in turn, drive costs down without compromising attaining more ambitious targets. The next era of sales tech will be judged not on the inputs that go in, but on the outcomes it creates with less effort and resources.”
Precision Dialer combines prospect intelligence with single-line dialing
Unlike parallel dialers, which call multiple prospects simultaneously to maximize dialing volume, Precision Dialer is intentionally designed to place one call at a time. The company currently has 16 outstanding patents, and its platform combines three of TitanX’s proprietary technologies to help sales teams identify which prospects to contact, protect their outbound phone numbers, and streamline follow-up activity. These include:
- Phone Intent™: Uses behavioral intelligence to score each prospect’s likelihood of answering a cold call.
- Titan Defense: Protects outbound number reputation through carrier registration, continuous monitoring, and automated remediation of flagged numbers, safeguarding phone numbers from spam flags.
- Smart Stream: Prioritizes the warmest leads and automatically resurfaces follow-ups based on call outcomes.
Together, these capabilities allow representatives to spend the same amount of time dialing out, but have three times as many conversations with prospects, while making 50% fewer dials. In TitanX’s benchmark, the median single-line rep needed about 17 dials per conversation, and the median parallel-dialing rep about 25. Teams on TitanX reach 20–30%+ connect rates — a conversation every three to four dials.
“Parallel dialing is spamming your market, full stop. Your prospects know it, you know it, and carriers know it, which is why it gets your numbers flagged as spam,” said Justin Middleton, Chief Operating Officer at TitanX. “TitanX will never offer a parallel dialer, and neither should anybody else.”
Beta customers put precision dialing to the test
The largest jump in performance comes from deciding who to call. Teams that stop dialing every number on a list and instead call only the prospects TitanX’s Phone Intent™ scoring identifies as likely to answer see their connect rates rise from the industry average of roughly 6% to between 23% and 29%. Across TitanX’s data, that’s an estimated 3.5X to 4X increase. In practice, a rep goes from reaching a live prospect about once every 14 dials to once every three to four. Beta users are already noticing the difference.
“I’ve used more than 10 dialers over the past five years, and the Precision Dialer stands apart,” said Elijah Awoke, Founder of HTC Consulting. “It’s built by people who understand what outbound teams actually need, allowing us to focus on reaching the right prospects rather than burning through our market. I’m betting my entire agency on it.”
TitanX backs its technology with a guarantee of a threefold improvement in connect rates, a commitment it has offered to every customer for two years and consistently delivered on without a single guarantee claim. The guarantee reflects the company’s confidence in its ability to deliver measurable improvements in outbound performance.
TitanX will publish the complete methodology and findings from its analysis of over 3 million cold calls across 42 companies in its first annual Reach Rate Benchmark Report on October 27, where it will be live at https://pilot.titanx.io/arena-notify.
